Relationships are more than contracts.

There is a tendency of people to put an emphasis on “Rules” when it comes to relationships.

However instead of rules it is really about respect, understanding, and communication

There are some good things about rules I mean it gives someone a clearly stated example of what you do not want them to do or what you want them to do…

BUT! Rules are TOO DAMN RIDGED

“I clearly stated that you are not to look in the direction of another man… Sorry but i have to behead you now”

So like i said otherwise! Fuck Rules!

Respect your significant other. Learn what they like and what they dont like and DO NOT worry about other people in relation to your relationship. If you do then Trust issues will develop!

If that happens then it is a downward spiral from that point and the relationship will never be the same.

So now to my point

It was recently described to me that a relationship was a contract… I responded with a polite fuck no.

A Marriage is a contract!

You vow to do shit…

Adultery is a crime punishable by death…

I mean a marriage is in its essence a contract

But a relationship is NOT

”I love you!”

I mean you can have a lot of the same things that are present in a marriage but there is a reason that in a relationship you get to know each other before you get married

for one your future spouse may be secretly dirty!
